Lytham St Annes : Lytham it's my adopted home, a little English seaside town in the district of Lytham St Annes. No rush hour traffic here, no traffic lights, no multi-storey carparks. Just tree-lined streets, small shops & restaurants and a unique coastal windmill. A few shrimpers set out at dawn, living reminders of Lytham's 600 year heritage. Close neighbour is St Annes on Sea, contributor to the district name, a Victorian holiday town centred on a pier flanked by wide beaches and sand dunes.

Prints are specified by IMAGE size, with white borders for framing. These are limited editions, never more than 50 prints, some limited to just 11. All prints are signed and numbered by me.

Widescreen : These panoramas from stitched digital images emulate those from traditional film 'Swinglens' cameras - which rotate to cover hugely wide angles of view. Their 'cylindrical perspective' images appear to curve when printed flat.

Two of the pictures are in 'planar' perspective. They have their good points, and bad. It's a trade-off, straight lines don't curve but extreme edges of the image often appear stretched and distorted

In either case the best way to think about them is to imagine yourself facing a vista so w-i-d-e you must your head from side to side to take in the whole view.
