Lytham

it's my adopted home, a little English seaside town in the district of Lytham St Annes. No rush hour traffic here, no traffic lights, no multi-storey carparks. Just tree-lined streets, small shops & restaurants and a unique coastal windmill. A few shrimpers set out at dawn, living reminders of Lytham's 600 year heritage. Close neighbour is St Annes on Sea, contributor to the district name, a Victorian holiday town centred on a pier flanked by wide beaches and sand dunes.
